This includes some continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP) devices and some ventilators.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stage.uchealth.org\/notifications\/philips-medical-device-recall-information\/\">&gt;&gt; Learn more<\/a><\/div>\nThe UCHealth Sleep Lab \u2013 Central Park provides in-lab and at-home sleep testing for all sleep disorders.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All credentialed technicians with sleep lab experience<\/li>\n<li>Units available for home testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What to expect if you are scheduled for an in-lab sleep study<\/h3>\n<p>A sleep study requires an overnight stay in our clinic and is considered an outpatient visit by your insurance company.<\/p>\n<p>After checking in, you are taken to your private room. Bariatric beds are available. Your technician explains the procedure and answers your questions while preparing you for the test. Electrodes are attached to collect the data. The wires are long enough for you to move around the room and turn over in bed. You may read or watch television until your normal bedtime. You are monitored throughout the night and you can page your technician if you need anything. Tests typically end around 5:30 to 6:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>A final report is ready in 14 to 21 days. We fax a copy to your referring doctor. We encourage you to schedule a follow-up appointment with your doctor to discuss the findings of the sleep study.
