We are committed to providing our community with prompt, specialized trauma care.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>24\/7 availability of board-certified emergency physicians and trauma surgeons, and trauma-credentialed nurses.<\/li>\n<li>Operating room capability with 4 OR suites.<\/li>\n<li>Onsite physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology.<\/li>\n<li>4-bed ICU with virtual capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Trauma case management.<\/li>\n<li>24\/7 lab, radiology, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and blood bank support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The trauma program supports injury prevention and outreach activities for our community in northwestern Colorado and our referring facilities. The trauma program is involved in comprehensive performance improvement programs to ensure the most up to date evidence-based practices.<\/p>\n<p>YVMC is well integrated into the regional EMS system and partners with EMS for ongoing training and education.
