Christopher Martin, PharmD, MS, BCPS – Director de Farmacia
Chris es el gerente de farmacia para servicios clínicos y uno de los preceptores de la rotación de gestión de prácticas PGY1. Chris obtuvo su título de Doctor en Farmacia en la Facultad de Farmacia del Centro de Ciencias de la Salud de Texas Tech. Después de graduarse, completó una residencia de práctica especializada en farmacoterapia y obtuvo una maestría en Farmacia de la Facultad de Farmacia de la Universidad de Texas. Antes de llegar a Memorial, Chris fue profesor asistente clínico en la Facultad de Farmacia de la Universidad de Texas y en el Centro de Ciencias de la Salud de UT en la Facultad de Medicina de San Antonio. Cuando Chris no está trabajando, disfruta de pasar tiempo al aire libre en Colorado con su familia, ahumando barbacoa al estilo Texas y animando a los Longhorns: ¡Hook'em Horns!
Alyssa Douville, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP

Paige Clement, Doctora en Farmacia, BCPS, BCCCP
Paige se graduó con su título de Doctora en Farmacia de la Facultad de Farmacia de la Universidad de Tennessee en 2004. Angela Ricke, Doctora en Farmacia, BCPS
Angie is the PGY1 Residency Program Direction and Medication Safety Coordinator for the UCHealth Southern Region. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas and her PharmD from Creighton University in 2009. Angie completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas and has been with UCHealth Memorial Hospital since 2011. Angie enjoys hiking the Incline, keeping up with her three kids and watching Kansas City Chiefs football.
Carrie Beckman, PharmD, BCOP, BCPS
Carrie is the preceptor for the Investigational Drug Services rotation. She attended University of Nebraska as an undergraduate and received her PharmD from the University of Minnesota in 2007. Carrie then completed a PGY-1 residency at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington. She started working at UCHealth Memorial Hospital in 2013. Carrie has pharmacy practice experience in internal medicine, women’s services, cardiology, oncology, and anticoagulation. She enjoys photography, beach vacations, the arts, watching college hockey and spending time with her family.
Lauren Loeper, PharmD, BCPS
Lauren es la preceptora de la Rotación de Servicios para Mujeres. Joseph Kalis, PharmD, BCOP
Joe practices in ambulatory oncology and is a preceptor for the PGY-1 pharmacy practice and the PGY-2 oncology programs. He combines his facility with language and a penchant for philosophy to impart technical knowledge, as well as his own experience, to learners of all abilities and areas of interest. He favors thinking and knowing “why” above all else.
Joe received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA, going on to a PGY-1 residency with UCHealth in Colorado Springs and a PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy residency with St Luke’s in Boise, ID. His professional interests include hematologic malignancies, bow ties, Stoic philosophy, and Sasquatch.
When not at work, Joe can be found climbing, skiing, or mountaineering. He is a proud devotee of Mark Twight, Fred Beckey, Edward Abbey, and the American West. Most importantly, he likes going off-script, ten-dollar words, and breaking things yourself.
Alex Novin, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP
Alex is the Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist, preceptor of both the infectious diseases and longitudinal antimicrobial stewardship rotations, and co-chair of the UCHealth Southern Colorado antimicrobial stewardship subcommittee. He was born and raised in Washington Township, NJ. He dual-majored for his Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology degrees from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, graduating in 2010. From there he worked for almost 4 years at Danville Regional Medical Center in Danville, VA as a clinical pharmacist. Alex then decided it was time to pursue residency training and did his PGY-1 Acute Care Pharmacy Residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center and then his PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at the University of Colorado Hospital. His professional interests include antimicrobial stewardship, antibiotic resistance, precepting, and C. diff. With the (little) free time he has he enjoys spending it with his wife and two young sons, playing video games, skiing, exploring Colorado, and eating delicious food.
Elizabeth Katondo, Doctora en Farmacia, Maestría en Ciencias, BCPS
Elizabeth (Betty) is the PGY1 Inpatient Oncology preceptor. Betty graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in 2002, and later obtained a Master of Science degree in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2010. She completed her PGY1 Residency at the University of Virginia Health System in 2003, and went on to practice as a Staff, Consultant, and Oncology Pharmacist at Peninsula Regional Medical Center (now known as TidalHealth Peninsula Regional) in Salisbury, Maryland, before moving to Colorado in 2017. In her free time, she enjoys exploring and climbing mountains around Colorado with fellow high-altitude enthusiasts.
Lisa Henager, PharmD, BCOP

Allison Muntz, Doctora en Farmacia, BCPS
Allison serves as a back-up preceptor to the Women’s Health rotation at Memorial North Hospital. She graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in 2017 and completed her PGY1 residency at UCHealth Memorial Central in 2018. She worked in the emergency department and medical-surgical units at Memorial Central from 2018 to 2021. In 2021 she transitioned to a medical-surgical and women’s services pharmacist at Memorial North. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, travelling, and being a new mom.
Kimberly Morgan, BSPharm, RPh
Kim is the Pharmacy Manager for Memorial North Hospital, a 135-bed hospital within the UCHealth Colorado Springs region. She is a preceptor for the Clinical Service Development PGY1 elective rotation. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After graduation, she began her career in the San Luis Valley at a 50 bed rural community hospital as a clinical staff pharmacist. There is a San Luis Valley legend about frogs, which she likes to share when people ask how she came from Canada to live in a remote alpine desert in Colorado. Make sure you ask her, if you find yourself here at Memorial. After 8 years, she became the Director of Pharmacy of the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center. Her goal was to bring evidence-based pharmacy services to this rural community. She is most proud of her role in creating an outpatient oncology infusion center so patients did not have to drive over a mountain pass to receive chemotherapy. She never aspired to be a pharmacy leader, but has found great satisfaction in supporting the development of individuals and a vision for the pharmacy profession. Kim’s favorite place to be is anywhere near water as she enjoys kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.
Natalie Muenzberg, PharmD, BCPS
Natalie is one of the PGY1 Pharmacy Practice (staffing) preceptors. Natalie graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University in 2011. She accepted a clinical staff pharmacist position at Memorial Hospital Central in 2011 and transitioned to the UCHealth Memorial North Hospital in 2017. She earned her BCPS certification in 2018, and enjoys using her experience to train new clinicians. Outside of work, Natalie spends her time time with her husband and four kids, baking, and running.
Michael Holowatyj, PharmD, BCPS
Michael is an Emergency Medicine clinical pharmacist and preceptor for the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency and PGY-2 Critical Care pharmacy residency programs. He graduated from Purdue University and completed two years of residency at IU Health in Indianapolis. When not at work, he enjoys snowboarding, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family.
Kinsey Kowalski, PharmD, BCCCP
Kinsey is one of the PGY1 and PGY2 Surgical/Trauma ICU and Cardiothoracic Surgery preceptors at Memorial. Kinsey also serves as PGY1 Residency Coordinator and was awarded preceptor of the year in 2023. Kinsey graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 2015. She then went on to complete her PGY1 and PGY2 Critical Care residency, both at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Outside of work, Kinsey spends her time lifting weights, hiking, and hanging out with her floppy bloodhound, Rosie, and her husband, Jacob.
Eric Brown, Doctor en Farmacia, BCCCP

Shelley Glaess, Doctora en Farmacia, BCPS

Patricia Sichmeller, Doctora en Farmacia
Patricia (Tricia) es una de las preceptoras de práctica farmacéutica PGY1. Tricia se graduó con un título de Doctora en Farmacia de la Universidad de Colorado en 2005. Ashley Weiss, Doctora en Farmacia, BCPS
Ashley is an Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacist and PGY2 Critical Care Residency Preceptor. She graduated from Purdue University College of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 at Grady Health in Atlanta Georgia. She then completed her PGY2 in Emergency Medicine at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin and joined the Memorial Hospital team. When not attending traumas and strokes, Ashley enjoys snowboarding, listening to true crime podcasts and hanging out with her cats.
Amy Swank, Doctora en Farmacia, BCPS
Amy es farmacéutica clínica de Cuidados Críticos y Medicina de Emergencia en UCHealth - Memorial Central y preceptora de las rotaciones de Cuidados Críticos y Medicina de Emergencia para el programa de Cuidados Críticos de PGY1 y PGY2. Alexandra Carusone, PharmD
Alexandra recibió su Doctorado en Farmacia en 2016 de la Ohio Northern University y completó su residencia PGY-1 en The Christ Hospital en Cincinnati, Ohio. Rachel Jenson, doctora en farmacia
Rachel is one of the internal medicine preceptors for the PGY1 program. She completed both her Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor’s of Science in bacteriology from University of Wisconsin – Madison (Go Badgers!). Rachel completed her PGY1 residency at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in 2020. Outside of work you can catch her climbing rocks, throwing pottery, or overlanding with her husband and pup.
Kylie Goetz, PharmD
I am one of the Med Surg clinical pharmacists and an internal medicine preceptor for the PGY1 program. I received my Doctor of Pharmacy in 2016 from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. I have been with UCHealth since January of 2023. When I am not working, I enjoy exploring the great state of Colorado, gardening, spending time with my family, and attempting to ski.
María Isaacs, doctora en farmacia
Maria is a preceptor for the Internal Medicine and Investigational Drug Services rotations. She attended Baylor University as an undergraduate and received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy in 2021. She went on to pursue a PGY-1 residency at UCHealth Memorial Hospital. She is passionate about volunteering and providing excellent medical care to underserved populations. She fell in love with pharmacy while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique, Africa. Outside of Pharmacy she enjoys traveling, getting lost in a good book, playing board games, and spending time in the great outdoors.
Hallie Kinecki, Doctora en Farmacia, BCPS

Kyle Coronato, PharmD
Kyle is an Emergency Medicine clinical pharmacist and is the primary preceptor for the PGY1 emergency medicine rotation. His primary staffing locations include the ED and the ICU. Kyle completed his PharmD at The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy, followed by a PGY1 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. After PGY1 he returned to Colorado to complete his PGY2 in Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado Hospital. In his free time, Kyle enjoys backpacking, home improvement projects, and spending time with friends and family.
Feria de la Alegría, PharmD, BCOP

Jeff Sperry, Médico de Farmacia, BCPS
Jeff practices in internal medicine and in the medical ICU at Memorial Hospital Central. He is a primary preceptor for the Internal Medicine I & II rotations in the PGY1 residency program. Jeff received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Utah and went on to complete his PGY1 residency at UCHealth Memorial Hospital and his PGY2 residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin. As befitting an internal medicine enthusiast, he has wide-ranging clinical interests including anticoagulation, infectious disease, and pharmacokinetic optimization of drug therapy. Outside of pharmacy, Jeff is a self-professed ski bum whose primary fixations include snow, tall mountains, and fluffy glades of powder. When the snow is not flying, Jeff has been known to hike long distances to find snow, but sometimes he can also be distracted by a good book, cooking, trail running, and frisbees.

Kailee Severt, PharmD – PGY2 Critical Care Resident
Kailee Severt is from Moorpark, California. She completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Claremont McKenna College and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Loma Linda University in Southern California. Kailee completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at UCHealth Memorial and is excited to continue her training at Memorial with a PGY2 in Critical Care. In her free time, Kailee enjoys hiking new trails, yoga, and baking desserts.
Srishti Singal, PharmD – PGY2 Critical Care Resident
Srishti Singal is from Colorado Springs, CO and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Omaha, Nebraska. Srishti completed her PGY1 at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy and is excited to continue her training with a PGY2 in Critical Care. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys cooking, hiking, skiing, and reading.
Rhiannon Montgomery, PharmD – PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Rhiannon Montgomery is from Lexington, Kentucky. She completed her undergraduate degree in Human Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy as well. Her clinical interests include critical care, emergency medicine, and toxicology. Upon completion of her PGY1 year, Rhiannon hopes to pursue a PGY2 in one of these areas. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys painting, trying out new local restaurants and breweries, and spending time with her dog Delilah.
Uyen Tran, PharmD – PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Uyen Tran is from Torrance, California. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at UCLA and went on to earn her PharmD at the University of Washington. Uyen’s areas of interest include oncology, transplant and emergency medicine. In her free time, she likes working out, going to hot yoga, exploring various food spots, and savoring delectable coffee lattes.
Kateryna Parkhomenko, PharmD – PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Kateryna Parkhomenko was born in Ukraine but had been a resident of North Augusta, South Carolina for almost 20 years. She received her B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharm.D. from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Her areas of interest include emergency medicine and critical care, and she hopes to complete a PGY2 in these areas. Outside of work, Kateryna enjoys being a plant mom, hiking, going to the gym, and reading for book clubs.
Sydney Kruse, PharmD – PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Sydney Kruse is from Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University and completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Sydney’s clinical interests include Infectious diseases and emergency medicine, and critical care medicine. Outside of pharmacy, Sydney enjoys spending time with her loved ones, getting outdoors, listening to music, and going to see live theater.
Práctica farmacéutica (personal residente)
- Cada residente deberá obtener una licencia de farmacéutico dentro del estado de Colorado antes del 1 de agosto.
- Los residentes que no obtengan una licencia de farmacéutico en el estado de Colorado antes del 1 de agosto deben programar una reunión individual con el RPD y el Director de Farmacia. Los residentes que no obtengan una licencia de farmacéutico en el estado de Colorado antes del 1 de octubre serán suspendidos del programa de residencia hasta que obtengan la licencia. El tiempo perdido en el programa se agregará al final del año de residencia. Los residentes pueden continuar trabajando como técnicos de farmacia y continuar recibiendo un salario de estudiante pasante hasta que obtengan la licencia. Los residentes que no tengan licencia como farmacéutico en el estado de Colorado antes del 1 de enero serán expulsados del programa.
- Los residentes recibirán evaluaciones trimestrales del personal en PharmAcademic.
- Durante la orientación, los residentes recibirán:
- Capacitación en cuestiones de procedimiento y sistemas
- Una lista de verificación de orientación (Departamento, Residencia y Clínica)
- Los residentes de PGY1 practicarán cada 3er fin de semana, así como un turno de noche los jueves y viernes cada 4ta semana (en semanas opuestas).
- Los cambios de personal/cambios serán gestionados por los residentes. Cualquier cambio/cambio de personal debe ser comunicado a su preceptor de rotación antes del turno, idealmente en el momento del cambio/cambio.
- Durante la segunda mitad del año, según el desempeño de los residentes y las necesidades de personal, los residentes pueden ser transferidos a dos turnos de viernes por la noche, en lugar de un turno de jueves por la noche, o pueden ser programados para formar parte del personal en Memorial Hospital North
- The PGY2 Critical Care Resident will staff every 4th weekend in the ICU, three evening shifts per month (on average), and one ED weekend shift per month (following completion of their ED rotation).
- Residents will be allowed to submit their requests for which day they would like to work the evening shift each week and which day they would like to work the ED weekend as well as what shift they prefer.
- The PGY2 Oncology Resident will staff every 3rd weekend as well as two day shifts per month in the Infusion center. The resident will also take clinical call one week per month.
