Come see us if you have an illness or minor injury that doesn't warrant a trip to an emergency room but is too important to wait for a primary care appointment. Exámenes físicos deportivos
Los exámenes físicos deportivos, escolares y de campamento están disponibles en los centros de atención de urgencia de UCHealth. Muchos estados, incluido Colorado, requieren estos exámenes una vez al año o antes de participar en cualquier actividad física en una escuela, campamento u organización comunitaria.
Los requisitos específicos varían, pero durante un examen físico deportivo o escolar, nuestro enfermero practicante o asistente médico hará lo siguiente:
- Revise la historia clínica de su hijo.
- Realizar un examen físico.
- Proporcionar información sobre los signos de conmoción cerebral.
- Proporcionar un resumen de la visita al proveedor de atención primaria del niño (si la visita se lleva a cabo en un centro de atención de urgencia).
- Complete los formularios necesarios para participar en deportes o en la escuela (los formularios deben ser proporcionados por el padre/tutor).
Traiga todos los formularios requeridos para que los proveedores de atención médica los completen. Si su hijo usa anteojos o lentes de contacto, llévelos también al examen. Los menores deben estar acompañados por un acompañante o tutor adulto y tener el permiso de sus padres o tutores.
