I strive to provide individualistic, competent and compassionate care to my all patients. The patient-provider relationship in your health care is a team effort, and I aim to work together with you to support your cardiovascular health goals and needs through education and encouragement while listening to your needs and concerns. My goal is that all my patients to feel valued and listened to in all of our communications.I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Northern Illinois University in 2002. After accumulating years of cardiology experience as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit and cardiac catheterization lab, I desired to expand my knowledge base and advance my career as a nurse practitioner. I graduated from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, in 2022 as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. Being a part of the cardiology team with the UCHealth Heart Clinic – Memorial Hospital Central as an NP allows me to practice in the specialty I love while helping my patients achieve optimal heart health.
I am married to a wonderful husband, have four grown children and two dog children. I love spending time with my husband and children. Nutrition and fitness are my passions and love being in the mountains any opportunity I can get—whether it is snowshoeing, hiking, climbing, camping or even climbing 14ers. I have even recently tried my hand at ice-climbing which is a blast! I also love to travel and experience different places and cultures.
