Creo que un diagnóstico de cáncer es algo que encabeza la lista de los mayores miedos de la mayoría de las personas. Quiero que los pacientes sientan que ofrezco el mismo nivel de atención, compasión y preocupación que le daría a un amigo o a un ser querido.
As a Colorado native I appreciate the reputation that UCHealth has in the community as a leader in cancer care. Having worked in other settings in Colorado I know that when the “big C” comes, patients immediately want their care to be given from UCHealth.
While taking care of oncology patients has always been my passion, I very much enjoy the diversity of taking care of patients in the urgent care setting, as well, and the ability to provide convenient care to patients during their busy lives.
When I’m not working, I love to be outside! I love to bike, hike and run. You can find me on the road, you can find me on the trails and now that my kids are old enough you will often find me with a crowd. I also enjoy watching my kids in their activities.
My oldest Ryleigh is an amazing student who plays basketball, soccer and golf. She also plays piano. My middle kiddo Ryanne plays basketball, softball and golf, but she also plays piano, sings and is active in local theatre. The youngest in our household is my nephew Mason who loves to swim, collect Pokemon and can talk anyone’s ear off.
My husband and I have dated since high-school. He is my best friend and partner in life. He is always such an encouragement to me supporting me in all my ambitions.
At this phase in our lives we find that we give most of our time at our kids school and church. But we are also active in our community and support a local food pantry in Erie, sponsor children through World Vision and Food for the Hungry.
