I enjoy teaching my patients and answering all their questions. My patient and I have a discussion about the all the different approaches available.
Why I choose medicine
I was lucky enough to find a research job in neurology while I was an undergraduate student at Colorado State University. I then had an opportunity to research neurological disorders at the National Institutes of Mental Health. This experience inspired me to go to The Ohio State University for my PhD in Neuroscience. I then decided I wanted to help people in a more immediate way, which led me to attain my Master’s in Physician Assistant and become a neurology Physician Assistant.
About me
I am from New York originally, but moved from Ohio. I enjoy being a guest lecturer and student preceptor for Red Rocks Community College and University Colorado Physician Assistant programs.
Beyond caring for patients, I enjoy exercising, hiking, skiing, watching Broncos football and playing guitar with my kids.
