Heather graduated from Colorado State University with a Master of Music Therapy in 2002 and is a board-certified music therapist. Her work has encompassed all ages from preschool to older adults for over 20 years of private practice. Heather has been employed at UCHealth working at both Children’s Therapy Services and on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Poudre Valley Hospital since 2018. At CTS, she collaborates with OT and SLP therapists in providing preschool group opportunities. At PVH, Heather collaborates with PT, OT and SLP therapists in treating a variety of diagnoses including stroke and traumatic brain injury. Heather is trained in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) and is completing a certification for NICU music therapy as well.
