James R. Burnett, PA-C

Reed joined the UC Health Cardiac Surgery team and will be caring for patients at 1400 E. Boulder St., Suite 700, Colorado Springs.

His interest spans from emergency cardiac services to cardiac critical care.  He fosters exceptional care through attention to detail in cardiothoracic surgery, care of critically ill patients and trauma medicine.  “The opportunity to take someone on their worst day and through intervention have the potential to change their life is rewarding,” he said.

Mr. Burnett earned a degree in Physician Assistant studies from George Washington University, Washington, DC.  He completed PA Surgical Residency at Norwalk Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine, Norwalk CT.
