When it comes to treating my patients, my goal is to be more than just a go-to person for health-related needs. I know that health and healthcare can be full of worries and stress, but I believe my patients’ lives don’t have to be that way. My number one priority is to help my patients live life without being slowed down by their health or health care. I also believe that people should be equal participants in managing their care, so I focus on spending the time necessary to really listen to my patients and work with them to find the safest, most effective solutions for them.
I am originally from the California Bay Area and moved to Colorado in 2000. I am a former commercial pilot leaving aviation after 9/11 and returned to school to study medicine. I enjoy spending time with my family in the Colorado mountains. I love to play ragtime on the piano, and fly occasionally. I also love trains and automobiles, especially Corvettes.
