My goal is to work together as a team to provide the best evidence-based care to meet the patient’s health goals and maintain quality of life.
I aim to continue my meaningful nursing career by pursuing a career as a pulmonary nurse practitioner. Over my 11 years of critical care nursing experience, I have become a steward for compassionate evidence-based practice. I have a broad understanding of healthcare from EMS, emergency rooms, intensive care units, to outpatient clinics. Using my experience, I believe I have the knowledge to help educate and guide patients through the healthcare system to achieve their health goals. I am a life-long learner with a strong work ethic. I am passionate about taking care of critically ill patients and their families. I want to expand my expertise in this patient population by taking my nursing career to the next level.

What led you to this profession?
I have a passion for taking care of patients and families while continuously challenging myself to learn and grow as a healthcare provider. After 11 years of critical care nursing, the nurse practitioner role allows me to be more involved in patient treatments and outcomes. Being a pulmonology nurse practitioner, I am able to work with a team of knowledgeable doctors to provide specialized care to our patients.
Hobbies:
I enjoy hiking and biking in the great outdoors of Colorado. I also love to travel and scuba dive whenever I get a chance.
