Mi filosofía de atención es que el paciente es lo primero. Es imperativo para mí que cada paciente sea tratado individualmente por sus problemas de comunicación, con el resultado general de crear una mejor calidad de vida.
My greatest influence in becoming an audiologist was my cousin who became deaf shortly after birth. He was one of the first children to be implanted at Boys Town in Omaha, NE, and this was something that really intrigued me.
UCHealth has the same values as me! It is here that I know I am making a difference in my patients lives daily. Each patient is important, and they all deserve to receive the best practices for their individual care.
Beyond patient care, I really enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love to read, and most recently have really enjoyed getting outside for walks with my dog in the beautiful Colorado settings. My family supports many philanthropic causes. Meadors Masters, which was formed in support of the American Heart Association, is the one that we have really focused on recently as it has branched out to helping those who are in need from current catastrophic events such as flooding, hurricanes and more. Also, I helped my daughter make a difference by sending over 60 pounds of handmade blankets to the Younique Foundation that supports adult survivors of sexual abuse. That is a foundation that we hold dear to our hearts, as well.

Me gusta mucho trabajar con audífonos. Las nuevas tecnologías me permiten abordar una variedad de problemas de comunicación, y aquí es donde siento que obtengo mi mayor recompensa. A menudo me escuchan decir "siento que tengo el mejor trabajo del mundo". Hago una diferencia todos los días, y mis pacientes aprecian tanto mi trabajo que se convierten en amigos.
