In today’s world of medicine, there are many options for healthcare. I believe that patients should be active participants in their healthcare decisions to optimize their own health. My job is to provide competent and compassionate care to help individuals be the best versions of themselves using the most up-to-date medical information available. I am an osteopathic physician by training, and strongly agree with the power of the mind, body and spirit in healing.
I had my first child while I was a medical student which was a launching pad for my interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I was attracted to the thrill of bringing new life into the world and being able to provide medical care to women throughout all phases of life. I am a detail-orientated person and love the art of surgery. Obstetrics and Gynecology provides me with the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients over a lifetime through clinical medicine, adrenaline rushes of emergency medicine through labor and delivery/emergency gynecologic surgery and the ability to practice the art of medicine by providing individualized patient care.
Soy madre de tres niños activos y participo en eventos de Boy Scouts, escuelas e iglesias. Mis pasatiempos incluyen yoga de potencia caliente, correr, esquiar, hacer senderismo, entrenamiento de intervalos de alta intensidad, tejer, hacer ganchillo, coser y viajar.
